Event overview
The Strategic Staffing Solutions (S3) Turkey Trot in Detroit takes place on November 27, 2025. The event kicks off America’s Thanksgiving Parade presented by Gardner White and has been held for over 40 years. Thousands of participants often wear costumes and run or walk in a series of races held before the parade. All finishers receive custom-designed medals and all participants receive a long-sleeved technical shirt.

Advance packet pickup runs November 15-22, 2025 at multiple locations. Additional packet pickup is available at the Huntington Place expo in Hall E on November 26 and November 27; registration is also available at the expo on November 26 in Hall E (payment by cash or check only). Jogging strollers are allowed; pets and bikes are not permitted. Listed entry fees are $50 for the 10K, $50 for the 5K, and $35 for the mile; prices increase after November 24, 2025.
