29th Annual Turkey Trot in Defiance
The Turkey Trot is a long-standing Thanksgiving morning tradition held at Independence Dam State Park in Defiance, Ohio. Participants can choose between different formats to take part in the event, which takes place on the grounds located at 27722 State Route 424.
The event offers several participation options:
- 4 Mile Run
- Fun Walk
- Virtual 4 Mile Run or Walk
The on-site activities utilize the natural environment of the state park for both the running and walking courses. For those who cannot attend in person or are located elsewhere, a virtual option is available which allows participants to complete a 4 mile run or a custom walk route at their own preferred location.
All individuals who complete their registration by the pre-registration deadline receive a t-shirt. Registration for the event remains open until November 19th.
