Operation K.A.V.I.C. 5K Run/Walk
The Fourth Annual Operation K.A.V.I.C. 5K Run/Walk takes place at the Keller Logistics Group Headquarters in Defiance, Ohio. This event is organized to support a local non-profit organization that assists veterans in crisis by addressing needs not covered by standard military benefits, such as home and car repairs, dental bills, or therapy dogs.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5 km Run
- 3.1 mile Walk
- 1 mile Fun Walk
The event is designed to be kid friendly. Runners on the 5 km course receive professional timing and compete for prizes awarded to the top male and female finishers. Participants who register for the walk distance have two length options and are not timed.
All registered participants receive a race bib and finisher snacks. Those who complete their registration by March 15th are guaranteed a race t-shirt. Packet pickup is available on-site beginning one hour before the start of the event. The course begins and ends at 1978 Thomas E.
