About the race
Turkey Trot - Chasing Recovery is a community running event held at the front of the Walker County Courthouse, 219 19th St W., Jasper, Alabama. The event includes a 5K (3.1 miles) and a 1 Mile Fun Run and is organized by 3D Revolution LLC, with proceeds supporting that organization based in Nauvoo, Alabama.
The event is presented as family friendly; dogs on leashes are permitted. All registered participants receive a race bib. To guarantee a race t-shirt, registration must be completed by November 13; a limited number of extra shirts will be available at the race for late registrants. There will be a special prize for the top three finishers in the 5K.
The 5K course has a time cutoff of 1 hour and 45 minutes. Packet pickup is available only on race day at the front of the Walker County Courthouse from 7:00 to 7:45 AM. On-site registration is available until 7:45 AM on race day.
