3rd Annual 5K Turkey Trot benefiting St. Jude
This event takes place on November 26, 2026 at Bruce Park Playground, 218 Hastings St., Bruce, Mississippi. The gathering includes a community 5K run/walk and a separate kids fun run for younger participants.

The 5K has a registration fee of $25.00. A T-shirt only purchase option is available for $20.00, with T-shirts available for pick up on race day. The kids fun run is free for children ages 11 and under when accompanied by an adult; supervised playground activities will be available while adults participate in the 5K.
Professional timing returns in 2026 through Best Times Event Timing, and participants will receive race results and rankings after the 5K. All funds raised at the event will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The stated mission of St. Jude is to advance cures and prevention methods for pediatric catastrophic diseases and to provide treatment without denial based on race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay. The materials note that St. Jude has contributed to an increase in the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80%.
