Turkey Trails - Oklahoma City is a Thanksgiving-themed running event held at Wiley Post Park in Oklahoma City. The event offers a variety of distances to accommodate different participants, ranging from short dashes to a half marathon. The course options include:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10k (6.2 miles)
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile
- Kids Dash (50 meters)
The 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon events utilize chip-timing with live results and awards. Participants in these distances, as well as the 1 Mile walk/run, receive a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. The 1 Mile event is untimed. For the youngest participants, the Kids Dash is an untimed 50-meter event for children aged 10 and under. Registered children receive a youth-sized shirt, a mini bib, and a specific medal, while those who do not require race items may participate for free.
Waitng at the finish line are various treats and snacks. The event also provides free photos for all runners. A virtual race option is available for those unable to attend the physical location, allowing participants to complete their distance and receive event swag remotely.
