MileBuilt Turkey Lake 2-Day Challenge
The MileBuilt 2-Day Challenge takes place April 3–4, 2027 at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake in Orlando, FL. The event runs on the park's internal paved loop course and stays inside the park gate. The course passes the water, sand pine scrub, live oak and cypress, and Southlake Overlook. Each loop returns to the Pavilion 1–2 area where aid is located.
Available distances (each day):
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
- 50K
Loop-based formats are used for each distance: examples in the course notes include just under two loops for the 5K, just over three loops for the 10K, just under seven loops for the half marathon, just under fourteen loops for the marathon, and just over sixteen loops for the 50K. The event runs the same set of distances on both days.
The event is cupless; participants must carry their own fluids. MileBuilt supplies water, electrolyte drink and basic snacks at Pavilions 1–2. Parking is in Lot 1 and other designated park areas. Camping options include RV, cabin and tent sites reserved through the park. The event is bare-bones: no shirts, race bags or expo. Finish protocol is not chip timing; finishers must strike the gong and Clock Out at the MileBuilt Time Clock for an official result. A race day cutoff at 3:30 PM applies to the full day.
