Turkey 10-Miler - Creola
The Turkey 10-Miler event at River Delta Marina in Creola, Alabama offers three measured road race distances: a 10 Miler, a 10K, and a 5K. The courses are USATF certified and run under the shadow of the "Dolly Parton" Bridge.
Packet pick-up and registration are available before race day at the Port City Pacers Clubhouse in Mobile, and race-day registration and packet pick-up take place at River Delta Marina. Pre-registration is accepted by mail or in person at McCoy Outdoor, Run-N-Tri, or Fleet Feet in Mobile until noon on the Thursday before the event; online registration closes early the Friday before the event.
Published entry fees differ by distance and membership status; reduced member rates are listed for Port City Pacers members, higher rates apply for non-members, and day-of-race fees are higher than pre-registration fees. Participants who register by November 12 are eligible to receive a race shirt on race day; shirts are not guaranteed for later registrations.
The event benefits Creola Police & Rescue, the River Delta Marina, and local foodbanks; organizers request canned or packaged non-perishable food donations or monetary donations to the foodbanks. Awards are given by overall and age-group categories, including masters, grandmasters, senior grandmasters, wheelchair, and walker divisions.
