Mobile Marathon - Mobile, Alabama
The Mobile Marathon takes place on January 10, 2027, in Mobile, Alabama, at 104 S. Royal St, Mobile AL 36602. The event program includes full and half marathons, team relay options, and a short fun run. All events benefit the First Light Community Foundation of Mobile, which creates homes where people with and without intellectual disabilities share life together.
Distances and event formats:
- Full Marathon : 26.2 Miles
- Half Marathon : 13.1 Miles
- Full Marathon Relay : 26.2 Miles, 5-person teams
- Half Marathon Relay : 13.1 Miles, 2-person teams
- Fun Run : 1.2 Miles
Registration information and fees are provided for each event. Registration opens April 20, 2026. Registration closes October 31, 2026 for the marathon, half marathon, and both relays; fun run registration closes January 9, 2027. Published registration fees are: Full Marathon $95.00, Half Marathon $65.00, Relay entries $45.00 per runner, Fun Run $20.00.
Relay divisions are listed for team events and include Open, Masters, Gr. Masters, Sr. Gr. Masters, Organization, High School, and Grade School. Each relay division offers all male, all female, and coed categories. Walters Controls serves as the title sponsor and Infirmary Health is the presenting sponsor.
