Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Trinity Pasco, FL
This event is a 5K (3.1 miles) run or walk held in Trinity/Pasco, Odessa, Florida, that honors first responders and military and remembers the events of September 11, 2001. It is the fifth year the event is held in Trinity/Pasco and it includes both in-person and virtual participation options.
Registration categories include adult, first responders and military, youth (13 to 17), child (12 and under), and virtual. Registration fees vary by category. Online registration remains open through race morning. Transfers to another participant are permitted before the specified cutoff date. Registration fees do not count toward individual fundraising totals.
Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the event at StretchLAB in Lutz, Florida. Race-day packet pickup is available at the race site. Virtual registrants may have someone pick up their packet on their behalf.
The event is chip timed and awards finisher medals to all participants. Many awards are based on participants who run in firefighter turnout gear or military backpacks as part of the commemorative activities. A water station is available on the course and water is provided at the start and finish. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted; roller blades and bicycles are not. Friendly dogs are allowed to participate. Emergency medical services and radio communication will be on site. No refunds are provided.
