Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Ripley, WV
The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk is held to honor a New York City firefighter who ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel on September 11, 2001, and to remember all those who lost their lives on that day. The event also supports first responders and military personnel and raises funds for Tunnel to Towers programs.
The event takes place in Ripley, West Virginia at the Jackson County Courthouse Gazebo, 100 North Court Street, Ripley 25271. This is the fifth year the event has been held in Ripley. The course distance is 5K (3.1 miles) and is available for running or walking.
