Dash for Diabetes 5k - June 12, 2027

The Dash for Diabetes 5k is a fundraising run and walk held at River Front Park in Ravenswood, WV on June 12, 2027. The course follows a 3.1 mile route along the Ohio River.

Registration opens January 4, 2027 and pre-registration closes May 21, 2027. Pre-registration fees are listed by age: ages 18 and over pay $25, and ages 17 and under pay $15 (discount applied at checkout). Fees increase for same-day registration; amounts for same-day registration are listed by age in the event details. Donations are accepted and all proceeds benefit the Coplin Health Systems Diabetes Program and the Ravenswood Recreation Youth Program. Same-day registration shirts are not guaranteed.

This event includes separate entries for running and walking. Thunderbolt Race Series walking rules apply: participants who register to walk must walk and will be disqualified if they run. Overall and group awards are given to both runners and walkers.
