Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Buffalo, NY
The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk in Buffalo is a 5 kilometer event held on September 19, 2026 at Bellevue Fire Company, 511 Como Park Boulevard, Cheektowaga. The event is open to participants who wish to run or walk the full 5K course.
Race registration includes chip timing for participants who register before September 15. Same day registration and packet pickup will be available on race day, and pre-race packet pickup is scheduled the two days prior at local fire halls: Brighton Fire Hall in Tonawanda and Bellevue Fire Hall in Cheektowaga. Participants may have someone else pick up their packet with a copy of the registrant receipt.
Registration categories and fees listed by the organizer include adult, first responders and military, youth ages 13 to 17, and children 12 and under, with a no t shirt option for children. The event notes that registration fees do not count toward the fundraising goal on the event platform. Fundraising by participants is supported via individual pages created after registration.
Course support includes water stations along the route and at the finish, EMS response through 911, and police and EMS personnel along the course with radio communications. Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted; rollerblades and bicycles are not allowed. Pets other than service and police dogs are not permitted on the route.
