Tulare Santa Fe Trail-A-Thon 5K
The Tulare Santa Fe Trail-A-Thon is the 24th annual 5K Run/Walk held in Tulare on November 7, 2026. The event takes place at Live Oak Park, with the course routed along Tulare's Santa Fe Trail and both the start and finish located at the park. The single event distance is 5K.
The event is organized by the Tulare Sunrise Rotary Club to raise funds for its High School Scholarship Program. In 2026 the program awarded a four-year college scholarship of $5,000 and a trade school scholarship of $1,500. Registration for the event carries a fee of $15; registration fees help cover finisher medals, awards, and professional race timing. Onsite registration and bib pickup are available on race day and additional donations are accepted to support the scholarship program.
All finishers receive a commemorative medal, a lanyard, and a Rotary participant pin. Medals are awarded to top male and female finishers in the following age groups: 9 & under, 10–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60+. Overall male and female winners receive a special trophy and a $100 gift card. The event emphasizes community participation and scholarship support through a timed 5K event on the Santa Fe Trail.
