Tulare Santa Fe Trail-A-Thon 5k
The Tulare Santa Fe Trail-A-Thon is the 23rd annual 5k run/walk hosted by the Tulare Sunrise Rotary Club. The event takes place on November 7, 2026, with the course beginning and ending at Live Oak Park in Tulare, California, at 600 North Laspina Street. The route is described as scenic and the park offers open space for participants and spectators.
Proceeds support the club’s High School Scholarship Program. In 2026 the program awarded a $5,000 four-year college scholarship and a $1,500 trade school scholarship to two Tulare High School seniors. Registration opens June 23, 2026 and closes November 7, 2026; the registration fee is $15 per participant. The fee helps cover finisher and winner medals and timing system costs. Donations will also be accepted.
All finishers receive a commemorative finisher medal, lanyard, and a Rotary participant pin. Medals are awarded to top finishers in age groups: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+ for both male and female categories. The top male and top female runners receive a special trophy and a $100 gift card. Sponsor opportunities are available to support the scholarship program and event operations.
