Tsitsikamma Ultra 2026
The Tsitsikamma Ultra Trail Run is a point-to-point 50 km trail run in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The route links the Stormsriver area with the mountain hamlet of Covie and passes through sections of Tsitsikamma National Park.
The course follows a mix of ancient footpaths and forestry roads through dense indigenous forest, across cascading rivers, and over fynbos-covered ridges. Runners will pass locations with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean on one side and deep gorges on the other.
The event is organised by The Trail Shop and uses TotalEnergies Petroport Stormsriver in Thornham as the venue area. The listed entry fee for the 50 km class is R 2,600.00. Ultra fees include conservation and forestry permits, a running shirt, and a refreshment and burger at the finish.
