Fort Langley Historic Half Marathon
This event offers three distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon. The race day is February 22nd, 2026. It is the 20th annual edition.
The start and finish location is Bedford Plaza at 23285 Billy Brown Road in Fort Langley.
The Half Marathon route follows the Fort-to-Fort Trail. This is a mixed-use trail that runs along the Fraser River through farm fields and Derby Reach Provincial Park. It links the Fort Langley National Historic Site and Derby Reach Regional Park. The route is described as scenic with native wildflowers and lush vegetation. All distances are out-and-back on this trail.
The event is chip-timed with a tag to be attached to the shoe. A mass warm-up is held before the start. A custom souvenir finishing medal is included with registration, as well as a custom swag item (while supplies last). After-event snacks are provided.
Water stations are roughly 5K apart, with no water on the 5K route. The course closes at noon, with a 3-hour closure time for the Half Marathon. Random draw prizes are given to participants, and overall medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each distance.
Online registration is available. The event's partner charity is the Langley Senior Resources Society (LSRS). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
