CUTLINE True Grit
CUTLINE is an elimination running event held in Sydney, NSW at Dargle Farm, Lower Hawkesbury on 8 March 2026. The event is based on repeated laps of a set distance. Each lap has a time limit that becomes shorter as the race progresses. Participants complete a 3 km lap within the allotted time, and with every subsequent lap the time limit is reduced by one minute. Runners who do not return within the lap time are removed from the race.
The format combines physical pacing and race strategy. Competitors may choose to start quickly to gain space or conserve energy for later laps; those choices affect how long they remain in the field. Laps continue until a single runner remains and is declared the CUTLINE champion.
Practical information published for the event includes an entry cost of $120 with a scheduled price increase on 22/01/26 to $140. On-site camping is available and can be reserved during the event registration process. The event lists a prize as to be announced.
