Trout Valley Turkey Trot
The Trout Valley Turkey Trot takes place on November 26, 2026, in Trout Valley, Illinois. The event is presented by the Trojan Track Field & Cross Country Association (TTCCA) as the 20th annual running of the race.

The event benefits Cross Country and Track & Field youth athletes in the Cary-Grove community and the Cary-Grove Food Pantry. The TTCCA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that promotes youth running, wellness, and healthy lifestyles.
Advance registration opens August 4, 2026, and closes November 9, 2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $35.00 for the 5K and $15.00 for the Kids Fun Run. Limited on-site registration will be available inside the Trout Valley Lodge on race day; t-shirts are not guaranteed for race-day registrants and t-shirt sizing is guaranteed through November 1, 2026.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Galati's Hideaway, located at 800 Feinberg Ct, Cary, IL; packets claimed that day will be available on race morning. Awards include a prize and medals for the overall male and female finishers, plus medals for first through third place in each division, with awards distributed at the Beverage tent following the race.
Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable, non-expired food items or monetary donations for the Cary-Grove Food Pantry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
