TakeOff 2026: Trooper Kenton Iwaniec Memorial Event
TakeOff 2026 is a memorial running and activity program held in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, with an in-person event at Saint Vincent College and multiple virtual options running through 2026. The event raises funds to purchase breathalyzers (PBTs) for the Pennsylvania State Police and other law enforcement agencies. Since 2009 the foundation has purchased 3,032 PBTs and the stated goal for 2026 is to raise $100,000 to buy 200 PBTs. The event notes a focus on honoring victims of impaired driving and raising awareness about its consequences.
In-person activities take place at Saint Vincent College with a scheduled April 11, 2026 gathering. A separate Troop P Run is listed for May 2 at the Wilkes-Barre PSP barracks. Virtual options allow participants to record activity over set periods and to add progress to the online results page.
