Event Overview
The Trooper Kenton Iwaniec Memorial Race, also known as TakeOff 2026, is the 17th annual edition. The in-person event takes place on April 11, 2026, at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Virtual participation options are available.
Purpose and Charity
The race honors victims of impaired driving, raises awareness about the seriousness of DUI, and encourages community efforts to reduce such incidents. All profits support the purchase of breathalyzers (PBTs) for the Pennsylvania State Police and other law enforcement agencies in the Commonwealth. Since 2009, the foundation has funded 3,032 PBTs, with a goal to raise $100,000 for 200 more in 2026.
