TriWaco Triathlon

The TriWaco Triathlon is an annual event held in downtown Waco, Texas. Hosted in Indian Spring Park, this multi sport competition offers a variety of distances and categories for different participant types. The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT).

The course utilizes several local landmarks, including the Brazos River for swim portions and Cameron Park. The bike segment is designed to be spectator friendly. Participants can choose from several categories including:

  • Olympic triathlon, including Elite/Pro, Collegiate, and Relay divisions.
  • Sprint triathlon, including Collegiate, High School, and Relay divisions.
  • Try a Tri distance and relay for those new to the sport.
  • Aquabike options for both Sprint and Olympic distances.
  • PC Open divisions for physically challenged athletes in both distances.
  • Clydesdale/Athena categories for both Sprint and Olympic events.
