Event overview
TRILLIUM is a women-only triathlon and duathlon event held on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Centennial Quarry in Sylvania, Ohio (5773 Centennial Rd., 43560). The event is produced by RunToledo and includes individual and relay race options. Registration for the event opens on February 1, 2026.
Race formats and distances
- Triathlon: 400 Meter Swim, 11 Mile Bike, 5K (3.1 mile) Run
- Duathlon: 1 Mile Run, 11 Mile Bike, 3.1 Mile Run
- Triathlon Relay: three-member team - first person swims, second person bikes, third person runs
- Duathlon Relay: two-member team - one person completes both runs, the other person bikes
The triathlon uses a time trial start with athletes starting two-at-a-time on the steps of Centennial Quarry.
Eligibility, fees and registration policy
Age minimums: triathlon and triathlon relay open to ages 15 and older; duathlon open to ages 12 and older; duathlon relay open to ages 15 and older. Listed entry fees are $85 for individual triathlon and duathlon entries, and $35 for triathlon and duathlon relays. Registered participants may transfer entries to another qualifying Run Toledo event in the same calendar year, defer to the following year, or purchase insurance during registration.
