Trifarm Winter 10k trail run
The event is the final round of a four-race seasonal trail series, held at Trifarm, Church Road, Boreham, Chelmsford CM3 3EJ on 27 December 2026. The course is a 10 km winter trail that is more than 95% off road, using public footpaths and bridleways. The winter layout runs predominantly clockwise and is routed away from the river to reduce flood risk. TRA permit number is 6807 (TBC).
Registration and race-number collection take place in or near the Trifarm car-park and the race start and finish are located at the far end of that car-park. Plenty of parking is available on site. Bottled water is available at registration and there is a tap by the bicycle racks for topping up bottles before the run and at the finish. There are no water stations or marshals on course; a tail jogger will sweep the route and a finish-line timer will be used. Race numbers must be worn on the front, unfolded; manual timing may be used so numbers must be visible at the finish to have a time recorded.
Pre-run swim and post-run sauna are available by separate booking via the Trifarm website. Food and drinks such as bacon rolls, tea, coffee and cakes will be sold on site. Results and prizes will be posted after collation, with additional prizes for the fastest male and female across the round. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
