About the race
Trick or Treat Trot is a Halloween-themed running event held on 10/31/2026 at 12060 Hegel Rd, Goodrich, MI. The course runs through an orchard and nearby woods; participants are invited to wear fall running gear or Halloween costumes.
Distances offered:
- 1 mile Boo Dash for kids
- 5K route of three one mile loops
- 4 miles combined entry covering the kids 1 mile and the 5K
All participants receive a T-shirt, a cup of cider, and a donut at the conclusion of the race. The kids 1 mile run includes trick-or-treat stations along the route. The 5K follows three one mile loops that pass through apple trees and a woodsy area and returns to the front of the property where cider and donuts are available.
There is a combined entry that covers both the kids 1 mile and the 5K, offered as a single registration at a lower fee than separate entries. Registration opens in mid August and closes on 10/05/2026. Event fees vary by entry type. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
