- Sprint (16+) 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- Olympic (18+) 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
- Grand Prix / Junior sprint distance with drafting
- Youth 1 (ages 4 to 7) 25 m swim, 1 km bike, 250 m run
- Youth 2 (ages 6 to 9) 50 m swim, 1.5 km bike, 500 m run
- Youth 3 (ages 8 to 11) 100 m swim, 3 km bike, 1 km run
- Youth 4 (ages 10 to 12) 200 m swim, 5 km bike, 1.5 km run
- Team events (2 or 3 athletes) sprint and Olympic team formats available
