Défi Beauceron
Défi Beauceron is a running and walking event located in Saint-Prosper de Beauce. Recognized as the 19th largest running event in Quebec, it serves as a friendly competition for athletes of various interests.
Participants can choose from four different distances:
- 2 km (Les Pères Nature)
- 5 km (Lait au chocolat)
- 10 km (Telus)
- Half-marathon (Municipalité St-Prosper)
The courses are secured through the streets of the municipality, supported by 150 volunteers and a first aid team of approximately ten people. The event features an animated start and finish area with various booths showcasing products and services. To enhance the atmosphere, singers and musicians perform along the routes, and mascots are present specifically for the 2 km youth event.
On-site facilities include a locker service and a photo booth to commemorate the race. Participants have access to healthy snacks and a massotherapy service for pre-race or post-race care. Additionally, runners aged 18 and over receive one beverage from a local microbrewery. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
