About the race
The Triathlon de Laval takes place at the Centre de la Nature de Laval on Sunday 6 June 2027. This is the eighth edition of the event. The Centre de la Nature is a 50 hectare urban park that offers the infrastructure needed for a triathlon and a venue for competition in a natural setting, including a open water swim.
The event includes provincial elite competition components, notably the Coupe Québec and the Grand Prix de Triathlon Québec series with super sprint formats, qualification heats and finals for junior and elite fields. Results at this event contribute points toward provincial rankings and can lead to qualification for the Canadian Championships. A Duathlon Sprint is also scheduled, with qualifying places available for the 2027 World Duathlon Sprint Championship in Edmonton.
The Triathlon de Laval is organized by Triathlon Laval, a nonprofit club that trains athletes across a wide age range. The organizer lists a local partnership with Desjardins Caisse de Saint-Martin de Laval. Local street closures will affect roads around the park, including Boulevard Saint-Martin, Avenue du Parc, Boulevard Lesage, Boulevard d'Auteuil and Rue de La Malbaie. The organizer provides event materials such as an athlete guide, registration information, volunteer details, a sustainable development policy and frequently asked questions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
