TRI Mountain Lake
The TRI Mountain Lake is a multi sport event held in Liberty Township, New Jersey. The course layout centers around Mountain Lake, a 122-acre glacial lake situated within Warren County and bordered by the Jenny Jump State Forest. Participants navigate through an area known for its native plant diversity and glacial peat bogs.
The event offers several competition formats:
- Sprint Triathlon INDIVIDUAL: Features a 1/4 mile swim, a 15 mile bike ride, and a 3 mile run.
- RELAY team of TWO: The sprint triathlon course completed by a two-person team.
- RELAY team of THREE: The sprint triathlon course completed by a three-person team.
- AQUA BIKE: A swim and bike event without the concluding run.
- 3 MILE RUN: A standalone footrace that follows the same path as the triathlon run segment.
The swim takes place in the lake, followed by a bike course that includes various elevations throughout the surrounding township. The final run provides views of the water from multiple angles. The run portion of the event starts shortly after the triathlon begins. This event is organized by DASH Multisport and supports the Arc Warren County Chapter.
