Tri CLE
Tri CLE is a multisport event in Cleveland, Ohio. The event will take place on August 16, 2026 at Edgewater Park, located at 7600 Memorial Shoreway.
Participants can choose from several event categories and distances, including triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike formats. Each format offers Super Sprint, Sprint, and Olympic distances.
Triathlon Distances
- Super Sprint: 250-meter swim, 8.8-mile bike, 3K run.
- Sprint: 750-meter swim, 12.1-mile bike, 5K run.
- Olympic: 1500-meter swim, 22.2-mile bike, 10K run.
Duathlon Distances
- Super Sprint: 1.63-mile run, 8.8-mile bike, 3K run.
- Sprint: 1.63-mile run, 12.1-mile bike, 5K run.
- Olympic: 1.63-mile run, 22.2-mile bike, 10K run.
Aquabike Distances
- Sprint: 750-meter swim, 12.1-mile bike.
- Olympic: 1500-meter swim, 22.2-mile bike.
Relay Options Both Sprint and Olympic triathlon distances are available as 2 or 3-person relay team events.
The event is USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned. The course features a swim start from the beach at Edgewater Park into Lake Erie. The bike leg uses the Memorial Shoreway, which is closed to traffic during the event. The run takes place on the paths within Edgewater Park and the surrounding neighborhood.
A post-race festival area with live music and local food is planned. All participants receive a commemorative race shirt and a finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
