Cleveland Metroparks Ugly Sweater 5K
The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo presents the inaugural Ugly Sweater 5K and accompanying 1 mile event on Zoo grounds. The event invites participants to wear ugly sweaters and complete a measured course that runs through the Zoo property. Entry includes zoo admission as part of the race package.

Registration is managed with tiered pricing: pre-registration through December 4 costs $30, and registration from December 5 through race day is $35. Race day registration is available online only. Registration originally opens in March.
Due to expected cold weather, there will be no water stop on the course. Water will be available at the start and finish locations, and participants are recommended to bring a personal water bottle if they want water along the route.
Spectators must purchase online tickets to enter the Zoo; zoo membership does not provide free entry. Ticket prices are to be determined. Admissions staff will scan online tickets and the box office will not be open.
Race amenities listed for participants include a custom race t-shirt, a finisher medal for all finishers, post-race refreshments, and admission to the Zoo. Dogs are not allowed at this event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
