Event Details
The Cleveland Metroparks Ugly Sweater 5k takes place at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The event features two distances: a 5K run and a 1-mile walk.
Registration and Pricing
Registration costs $30 through December 4. From December 5 through race day, the price increases to $35. Race day registration must be completed online. There are 600 spots available per event.
Participant Information
Participants are encouraged to wear an ugly sweater for the event. All finishers receive a custom race t-shirt, a finisher medal, post-race refreshments, and admission to the zoo.
Important Notes
Due to cold weather, there will be no water stops on the course. Water will be available at the start and finish lines, and runners are recommended to bring their own water bottle if they want water during the run. Spectators must purchase tickets online to enter the zoo; zoo memberships do not provide free entry. Dogs are not allowed at the race.
