Cleveland Metroparks Ugly Sweater 5k
The Cleveland Metroparks Ugly Sweater 5K takes place at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Participants are invited to wear themed holiday sweaters while completing a course that runs through the zoo grounds. The event offers two distances for runners and walkers:
- 5 km Run
- 1 Mile Walk
Due to the cold weather, there are no water stops located along the course. Water is provided at the start and finish lines, and participants are encouraged to carry their own water bottles if they require hydration during the event.
Registered participants receive a custom race t-shirt, a finisher medal, and post-race refreshments. Registration also includes admission to the zoo for the participant. Spectators are required to purchase a separate admission ticket online through the zoo website to enter the grounds and view the race; please note that standard zoo memberships do not provide free entry for this specific event.
