About the race
Traverse the Trails is a trail-based point to point race scheduled for September 26, 2027. The general event location is listed as to be announced. Materials for the event list a start location at Robert E. Wade Ancaster Community Park, 385 Jerseyville Rd W, Hamilton, ON L9G 3L5, using the back (northern) parking lot.
The race uses official Dundas Valley trails and a provided race map. Competitors are bused to a remote start and make their way back to the finish using the highlighted trails. Checkpoints on the course must be visited in the order shown on the race map. Competitors must remain on official trails, which are wide enough for small vehicles and are marked periodically with trail posts. The race map shows usable trails with the same trail marker symbols as the posts.

Categories include Junior Women (Under 18), Junior Open (Under 18), Adult Women, Adult Open, Masters Women (50+), and Masters Open (50+).
Entry fees vary by registration period and include a race map, post race snacks, and a daily 2027 DontGetLost Adventure Running membership for race insurance. Entry fees exclude HST and online transaction charges.
