About the race
The Transform1 5K Run/Walk is a community event at Stoney Creek High School on October 10, 2026. The event supports Transform1, an organization focused on rescuing underage children from sex trafficking in the Dominican Republic and providing recovery services and long term care.
The course is a 5K run and walk held on school grounds at 6755 Sheldon Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48306. The event includes family friendly activities such as bounce houses and face painting. Food trucks will be on site; food is pay your own way. Indoor bathrooms and changing stations will be available inside the high school.
Participants are asked to consider fundraising goals: individual participants are encouraged to aim for $500 and teams are encouraged to aim for $1,500 in combined fundraising. Teams can register together through the event registration process. The event also lists opportunities for volunteers and for business or organizational sponsorship at a range of sponsorship levels.
