Surf Coast Wonderfalls Trail Run - Trailsplus Mountain Series
Surf Coast Wonderfalls is a trail running festival held on 15 August 2026 in the Otway mountains behind the seaside town of Lorne, along the Great Ocean Road. The event base is at Cumberland River Holiday Park, 2680 Great Ocean Road, Cumberland River VIC 3232.
The courses pass through coastal bushland and forest, and include early crossings of the Cumberland River, climbs, singletrack sections, waterfall viewpoints and technical descents. Routes travel through a mix of river crossings, forest trails and coastal terrain typical of the Otways.
Race distances cover a broad range to accommodate different route preferences:
- 6 km
- 14 km
- 25 km
- 42 km
- 50 km
- 75 km
Course maps and downloadable GPX and CRS files are provided for each distance. Wonderfalls is the third event in the Trailsplus Mountain Series and is one of a sequence of Victorian trail races run by Trailsplus. Trailsplus donates one dollar per participant to Canteen, the Australian organisation for young people living with cancer, and has recorded cumulative donations exceeding ninety thousand dollars.
