Event overview

The Wonderfalls Trail Run is part of the Trailsplus Mountain Series (Race 3). The event is held on a Saturday at Cumberland River Holiday Park on the Great Ocean Road near Lorne, Victoria. A new 75 km distance was added for 2025.

Course and distances

The course runs on mountain single trails and, for the longer distances, visits up to six waterfalls. All distances begin with three river crossings within the first 2 km, with water depth from ankle to knee depending on recent rainfall. Course layouts changed for 2025 except for the 6 km.

Entry, maps and donations

Entry fees for 2025 vary by distance and booking period, with listed prices ranging from $55 to $250. Trailsplus provides downloadable course maps and GPX/CRS files for each distance. Bib collection is done on the morning of the race. Trailsplus donates $1 per participant to Canteen; in 2025 there were 279 competitors and a total donation of $350 was made to Canteen.
