Wonderfalls Trail Run
The Wonderfalls Trail Run takes place on 15 August 2026 near Lorne, Victoria, at Cumberland River Holiday Park on the Great Ocean Road. The event routes run into the Otway ranges and Surf Coast region, moving from coastal bushland into forested mountain trails.
The course passes multiple Cumberland River crossings and features waterfalls, rocky descents, technical and fast-flowing singletrack, and sustained climbs. Runners will encounter coastal bushland and scenic viewpoints across the Surf Coast, with sections of flowing trail and technical terrain through the Otways.
Distances offered at the event include:
- 6 km Ideal for Beginners Trail Run
- 14 km Short Trail Run
- 25 km Trail Race Distance
- 42 km Trail Marathon Distance
- 50 km Ultra Trail Run
- 75 km Endurance Trail Challenge
Official course maps and downloadable GPS files are provided for each distance. Wonderfalls is the third event in the Trailsplus Mountain Series, a five-event series held across Victoria. Trailsplus donates one dollar from every participant entry to Canteen, and has contributed more than $90,000 to Canteen Victoria to date.
