Trail to Recovery
Trail to Recovery is a community event organized by the Crawford County Drug & Alcohol Executive Commission Inc. on 08/09/2026 in Meadville, Pennsylvania. The event raises funds for recovery activities, increases drug overdose awareness, and accepts donations.
The venue is Ernst Bike Trail Bean's Trailhead at 18701 Smock Hwy. The course is a scenic out-and-back over the Ernst Bike Trail.

Registration opens 03/01/2026 and closes 07/22/2026. The standard registration fee is $25. Registration fees increase by $5 on 07/23/2026 and race day registration is cash only at $30. On-site registration is handled in the parking lot by the start/finish area. Children age 10 and under may participate free with a parent or guardian unless they want to be eligible for awards or receive a T-shirt. To guarantee a T-shirt, register by 07/22/2026.
The 5K will present awards for top male and top female and top three in each 10-year age group up to Over 70; awards are made locally. Timing service is to be determined. Water stations will be at the start/finish and at the 5K turnaround. The trail is pet friendly when pets are leashed and handlers clean up after them. Parking is first come first served; additional parking is available at the Plaza Mall with a road crossing to reach the trailhead.
Free Naloxone Narcan will be available with a small questionnaire for distribution statistics. A Drug Overdose Awareness memorial will be transported to a Recovery Celebration tentatively scheduled for September at Diamond Park in Meadville.
