Event details
The Trail Nut 5K and 1 Mile takes place on June 20, 2026, at Turkey Mountain, 6492 S Elwood Ave, Tulsa, OK 74132. Races start at the Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area upper parking lot. Events offered include:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- Double - 5K + 1 Mile
Both the 5K and the 1 mile are timed and include finisher medals. The double entry awards two finisher medals, one for each event. Current entry prices listed are $39 for the 5K, $29 for the 1 mile, and $53 for the double; prices increase after March 19, 2026.
Organization and series
The event is organized by Golden Driller Racing. The organizer is RRCA registered and carries event insurance. As appropriate, USATF certified courses and sanctioned road race procedures are used. Trail Nut is the second race in an annual Turkey Triple trail series that also includes Trail Madness in March and Escape from Turkey Mountain in September. A series bundle is available for participants in the three events; registration for the series closes prior to the first race in March.
