Trail Madness

Trail Madness is a trail running event taking place on March 8, 2026 at the Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event offers three distances: 4K, 8K, and 16K. The race starts and finishes at the lower parking lot.

The courses use many of the popular trails at Turkey Mountain as well as some less-used paths. The event notes that the courses change each year.

Participants receive a finisher's medal and a t-shirt. A post-race party includes a cookout, with beer available for those aged 21 and over.

Trail Madness is the first event in a year-long trail series called the "Turkey Triple." The other races in the series are the Trail Nut 5K and 1 Mile in June, and the Escape from Turkey Mountain 5 Mile and 2 Mile in September. Participants who sign up for the full series receive an additional special medal for each race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
