Event overview
Trail Madness is a trail race held on March 8, 2026, at Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area in Tulsa, Oklahoma (68th & Elwood, 74132). The event offers the following distances:
- 4K
- 8K
- 16K
The courses run on multiple trails at Turkey Mountain. The race starts and finishes at the lower parking lot and covers many popular trails as well as lesser-known routes. The courses change annually.
Race details and organisation
Each participant will receive a lifestyle tee and a finisher medal. A post-race gathering includes a cookout and beer service for participants over 21. Trail Madness is the first race in the year-long Turkey Triple series. Other races in the series include the Trail Nut (5K and 1 mile, June) and Escape from Turkey Mountain (5 mile and 2 mile, September). Registration for the series closes prior to the first race in March.
The event is managed by Golden Driller Racing, an RRCA-registered event management company that is insured. As appropriate, organizers use USATF certified courses and may sanction road races eligible for state records through USATF. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
