The North Coast Race 2026
The North Coast Race takes place on Jersey on Saturday 2 May 2026 and offers two distance options along the island's north coastline. The event uses marked trails with GPX backup and includes aid stations, professional timing, a finishers medal and free event photos. An optional event T-shirt is available.
The course runs over coastal paths, commons and cliff-top trails with notable climbs and wide sea views. Marshals and on-course support create a warm, low-ego atmosphere. The race is organised with clear decision-point marking and basic race services to support participants on the day.
Start and finish locations are fixed for each distance. The 20 mile race begins at St Catherine's and the 10 mile race begins at Les Fontaines; both races finish at Les Landes. Aid station coverage differs by distance and support is provided at the finish.
Distances offered
- 20 miles full North Coast route with more coastline and climbing
- 10 miles shorter coastal route with punchy climbs and scenic sections
The event notes that Jersey is easily reachable from the UK and France by flight or ferry, making it suitable for a short race trip. Information on final logistics and on-course safety is confirmed in the race lead-up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
