Trail du Massif du Sud - 9th edition

The 9th Trail du Massif du Sud, presented by Desjardins, will take place on August 22, 2026 at Parc du Massif du Sud in Saint-Philémon, Chaudière-Appalaches. The event includes multiple trail running distances and a participatory 6 km walk, all on the park’s trails and multiuse tracks.

Distances offered:

• 32 km : 16 years and up, max elevation 917 m, elevation gain +1,543 m
• 22 km : 14 years and up, max elevation 917 m, elevation gain ~1,012 m
• 11 km : 14 years and up, max elevation 666 m, elevation gain +413 m
• 6 km (run) : 12 years and up, elevation gain +210 m
• 6 km (walk) : non timed, same route as the run
• 2 km (kids) : open to children 12 years and under, low elevation change

Routes include technical hiking-trail sections, multiuse gravel tracks and narrow singletrack segments. The 32 km route crosses several park summits including Crête des Grives, Mont Saint-Magloire and Mont Chocolat. Courses are color-coded and include aid stations shown on the course maps.

Online registration is available until August 18, 2026; on-site registration is allowed for selected distances. Medals are provided to all children finishers and to the top three men and women in each official race. A post-race snack or meal is provided for participants.
