Trail du Massif du Sud - 9th edition
The 9th edition of the Trail du Massif du Sud takes place on 22 August 2026 at Parc du Massif du Sud in Chaudière Appalaches. The event features multiple trail races, a participatory walk and a children s course.

The park terrain is described as technical. The longest course has a positive elevation gain of 1 543 m and reaches 917 m above sea level. The 22 km course exceeds 1 000 m of positive elevation while the 11 km course has about 413 m of positive gain. The 2 km children s route uses wide gravel tracks and has a cumulative elevation of 39 m.
All children who finish the 2 km receive a free medal and the top three men and top three women in each race also receive free medals. A post race snack is provided to participants. Part of the event s proceeds are allocated to the park patrol teams. The organisers promote eco friendly measures for participants, including the use of reusable drinking containers and limiting promotional giveaways.
