Défi des cocos
Défi des cocos is a community running event held in the Duberger-les Saules neighbourhood. The event takes place on 27 March 2027 and uses routes that start and finish near the chalet of Parc Père-Frédéric at 2655 rue Robitaille.
Distances offered:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km
- 1 km
All distances are chip timed except the 1 km, which is untimed. Medals are awarded to each child registered in the 1 km and 2 km, and to the top three men and top three women in the 5 km and 10 km. Bib distribution is scheduled at the Centre Communautaire Duberger in the days before the event and under the main tent on event morning; a person may pick up another runner’s bib if they present that runner’s proof of registration showing the name.
Services on site include free parking, toilets, snacks for participants, event animation and music. Routes are marked with signs and arrows, volunteers direct runners on course, and a first aid team will be present. Participant ages follow the recommendations of the Fédération d'athlétisme du Québec. Payment for registrations is by credit card only and all registration sales are final.
