Track Night Montclair
Organized by Trials of Miles and Fleet Feet Montclair at 10 Essex Ave in Montclair, New Jersey, this evening track meet includes youth races, open distance races, and relays. The event stages a sequence of youth competitions followed by open Miles, 4x400m relays, and 5K races.
Races are seeded by goal time and every heat features pacers to help athletes maintain target paces. A portion of proceeds and all registration donations are designated for Montclair High School Track & Field programs. A vendor village will operate during the event with local community partners.
Distances and event types include:
- 400 m - Kids untimed (ages 5 and under)
- 800 m - Kids timed (ages 14 and under)
- 1 mile - Open Mile with pacers in every heat
- 5 km - Open 5K with pacers in every heat
- 4 x 400 m - Open relay offered for individuals and full teams
