Event Overview
The Towne Lake Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K is an annual running event held in McKinney, Texas. The 2026 edition will be the sixth annual event and is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, 2026.
Course Details
The event takes place on trails in Collin County. All three courses are USATF certified and feature views of Towne Lake and the city of McKinney.
Distances
Participants can choose from three distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
A virtual participation option is also available for all three distances.
Participant Items
All participants, including 5K and 10K finishers, receive a finisher medal and a gender-specific tech t-shirt while supplies last. Virtual participants receive a shirt, medal, and bib, which are shipped.
Beneficiary
The event benefits the McKinney Police Association, a charitable organization supporting police officers and the community.
