TOUGHMAN Harriman : Lake Welch, Stony Point, NY
TOUGHMAN Harriman is a multi-race triathlon weekend held on September 11 and 12, 2027 at Lake Welch Beach in Harriman State Park, Stony Point, New York. The event features multiple formats: collegiate, Olympic, long course, duathlon, aquabike and youth races across the weekend. TOUGHKids races take place the day before the main races.
The event is USA Triathlon sanctioned with certified courses, official timing and race management consistent with national standards. A race vendor expo and an on-site TOUGHMAN store operate during the weekend. Packet pickup is available before race day on the designated pre-race days.
Race distances include:
- Olympic Triathlon: Swim 1.5 km, Bike 40 km, Run 10 km
- Long Course Triathlon: Swim 1.2 mi., Bike 56 mi., Run 13.1 mi.
- TOUGHKids categories: Ages 4–6 swim 20 yd, bike 1 mi, run 100 yd; Ages 7–10 swim 100 yd, bike 2 mi, run 0.5 mi; Ages 11–14 swim 200 yd, bike 4 mi, run 1 mi
Additional event options listed by the organizer include aquabike and duathlon formats at the same published distances, a collegiate division, and age-based youth events that specify loop counts for bike segments.
