Tough Mudder Austin
The 2027 season begins at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, Texas. The venue features a varied landscape consisting of forest-lined trails, dusty desert terrain, and creeks that cross the course. Participants encounter various surface conditions, including rocky hill peaks with high elevation and sandy, thick mud.
The event offers several participation options:
- 15K: Includes 20 or more obstacles along the route.
- 5K: Includes 12 or more obstacles along the route.
- Infinity: A multi-lap format where participants complete the 15K course and then add additional 15K or 5K laps within a set time limit.
- Spectator: Access to the Mudder Village Festival, live entertainment, and specific spectator viewing routes.
The course features signature obstacles such as Everest, a greased 13-foot quarterpipe, Arctic Enema, an ice pit, and Pyramid Scheme, a 15-foot wall that requires teamwork to scale.
Every finisher receives a medal from the Hex System, a finisher t-shirt, and a signature orange headband. Participants also receive a celebratory drink upon crossing the finish line. On-site logistics such as parking and bag drop can be arranged during the registration process. The event also hosts a village area with local food and entertainment.
