Tough Mudder Austin 2027
Tough Mudder Austin is scheduled for February 27, 2027 at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, TX. The venue address is 1701 Little Midland - Dorbrandt Road, Burnet, TX 78611. The course runs across forest lined trails, dusty desert mud and sandy areas that can trap footwear. Natural features include cacti, creeks that cross the course, and rocky hill peaks with scenic views.
Event formats offered include:
- 15K with 20+ obstacles
- 5K with 12+ obstacles
- Infinity with multiple laps
- Spectator pass
- Group packages for 10 or more people
Selected obstacles on the course are described as follows: Everest is a greased 13 foot quarterpipe that requires a run and jump, Arctic Enema is a 34 degree ice pit, and Pyramid Scheme is a slick 15 foot climbing wall. The Infinity option allows racers to stack chip timed 15K or 5K laps within a set time and offers first access to the course on select weekends. There is a 50 mile club target for long distance accumulators.
Finishers receive 2027 finisher medals using the Hex System, a finisher shirt, an orange finisher headband, and a complimentary finisher beer or seltzer. Parking and bag drop can be prepaid during checkout. Volunteer roles offer discounted event entry, exclusive swag, and complimentary food.
