Totley Moor
Totley Moor is a club-organised race that starts and finishes outside the Totley AC pavilion at the top of the field behind the Cricket Inn, Totley, Sheffield S17 3AZ. Entry is by pre-entry; places are limited to 250 and on-the-day entry may be permitted if the event is not full. The published entry fee is £8.
The route is a fixed, well marshalled course of 10.5 km (6.5 miles) that crosses road, track and footpath through woodland, fields and open moorland. The course has a total climb of 440 metres and is classified as a Category B medium race. Runners must remain on the designated paths and pass checkpoints in sequence.
Runners should be prepared for varied underfoot conditions and elevation. The event follows FRA requirements; competitors may be required to carry FRA Best Practice kit and be subject to mandatory kit inspections. Race numbers must be clearly visible and may be recorded at checkpoints. Dogs are not permitted on the course and road crossings are marshalled while competitors remain responsible for their own safety.
Facilities at the venue include toilets, showers, food and a pub, with limited parking and changing available in the pavilion. Prize giving takes place inside the bar area with awards for top finishers and age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
