The Course
The route is fixed and covers varied terrain, including road, track, and footpath through woodland, fields, and open moorland. The total climb is 440 meters. It is classified as a Category B medium fell race under FRA Rules. Runners must remain on the designated paths and pass all checkpoints in sequence.
Participant Information
Entry is pre-entry only with a limit of 250 participants. The event is part of Totley AC's annual series of five races. Changing facilities and showers are available at the pavilion. There will be a prize-giving ceremony inside the bar area with prizes for top finishers and various age categories. Organizers encourage car-sharing or using public transport; the number 97 bus from Sheffield stops a short walk from the start. Limited parking is available.
Mandatory Rules & Kit
The race is held under FRA Rules. All runners must wear their race number visibly on their chest. Kit requirements are at the race organizer's discretion based on weather, but runners should bring FRA Best Practice kit (waterproof whole body cover, hat, gloves, map, compass, whistle, emergency food). Mandatory kit inspections may be performed, and failure to comply leads to disqualification. Dogs are not allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
