Totley Moor
Totley Moor is a fell race in the Peak District, organised by Totley AC and held at the Totley AC pavilion behind the Cricket Inn (grid ref 302799, S17 3AZ). The route is a fixed, well marshalled course over varied terrain including road, track, footpath, woodland, fields and open moorland. The distance is 10.5 km (6.5 miles) with approximately 440 m of climb, classified as a Category B medium fell race under FRA definitions.
Pre-entry is available and the event has an entry limit of 250. Entry on the day may be possible if the event is not full. Teams are permitted, scored as teams of three, and junior races are not held; the minimum age for entry is 18.
Facilities at the venue include changing rooms and showers in the pavilion, toilets, food and a nearby pub; parking is limited. The race is conducted under FRA rules and a race licence; runners must follow the designated route and marshal instructions. FRA Best Practice kit is recommended and the race organiser may require mandatory kit and carry out inspections; failure to carry required kit or to follow route instructions can lead to disqualification.
