Event details

The Totley Moor race is scheduled for 19 May 2026 in Totley, Peak District, England. The event starts and finishes at the Totley AC pavilion behind the Cricket Inn (S17 3AZ, GR302799). The course distance is 10.5 km / 6.5 miles with total climb of 440 m / 1,444 ft, and it is classified as a Category B (medium) fell race. Entry is by pre-entry; entry on the day may be possible if places remain. There is an entry limit of 250 and the minimum age is 18. Teams of three are allowed. The race holds a permit and associated UK Athletics insurance through the FRA. Facilities at the venue include changing and showers in the pavilion, toilets, food and a pub; parking is limited.

Course and rules

The route is a fixed, well-marshalled course over varied terrain including road, track and footpath through woodland, fields and open moorland. Competitors must stay on the designated paths shown on the route map and pass checkpoints in sequence; failure to follow the route may lead to disqualification. Under FRA definitions the race may require runners to carry FRA Best Practice kit; mandatory kit inspections can be performed on race day and finishing without required kit may lead to disqualification. Prizes include top three male and female finishers, first Totley runner and awards in age categories (18-23, Senior, V40, V50, V60, V70).
