Trail Running Between Torekov and Båstad
HOKA Torekov-Båstad is a trail running event held on the Bjäre Peninsula, featuring courses that stretch between the coastal villages of Torekov and Båstad. The event focuses on varied terrain and scenic coastal views, following sections of the Skåneleden trail.
The competition offers two primary distances:
- 21 km
- 28 km
The event is a part of the Outnorth Trailtour, attracting elite Swedish trail runners. Participation is limited to a maximum of 1,500 runners per distance to maintain event quality. Participants select a starting group during registration, with a specific competitive group designated for those contesting for placements and prizes.
The registration fee includes electronic timing, a medal, a hat, and bus transport to the starting area. The 21 km route features energy stations, while the 28 km route includes taste stations. Facilities such as showers are available for participants. An optional after-run buffet is hosted at Hotel Skansen, and participants can pre-order food prepared with local ingredients from the Bjäre region.
