Event Overview
The Top of Utah Marathon is a multi-distance road racing event held in Logan, Utah. The event base is located at Historic Downtown Logan on Center Street. Participants can choose from several distance options held on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The available distances include:
- Full Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
The event features a unique "Family Finish" option for all race categories. This allows runners to invite family members to join them for the final 1,056 feet of the course so they can cross the finish line together. Participants can coordinate this at the check-in area.
Registration and Logistics
Online registration remains open until the morning of the race. In-person registration and packet pick-up are available at Race Headquarters in downtown Logan on the Friday before the race and early Saturday morning. Registration fees follow a tiered pricing structure that increases as the event date approaches.
Free parking is available throughout the Downtown Logan area for all participants and spectators. Each runner receives a raffle ticket during packet pick-up, which can be entered into a drawing held on race day.
Charitable Impact and Awards
The 5 km race, known as The Family Place 5K, serves as a fundraiser where a portion of every registration fee is donated to The Family Place to support child protection and family services.
Cash prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the Full Marathon and Half Marathon categories. Specific prize money is also designated for the top Masters runners in the marathon and the first-place male and female finishers in the 10 km and 5 km races.
