Cytiva Top of Utah Marathon - Logan, Utah
The Cytiva Top of Utah Marathon takes place in Logan, Utah on September 19, 2026. The event offers multiple race distances and a downtown start and finish within Logan's Historic District. Distances include:
- 26.2 miles (Marathon)
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The marathon course follows the Logan River Trail and passes the Logan River Golf Course, open country roads, and scenic wetland areas. Runners remain in the shadow of the Cache National Forest and the Wellsville Mountain Range. The urban route moves through the west side of Logan and Cache Valley with a course grade at or near 0. Organizers close the city block from 100 West to Main Street for the start and finish area.
Support along the course includes frequent stations, pacers, visible signage at every turn, event photography, accurate timing, and instant race results. All registered runners receive a VIP card for a post-race refueler. The event also offers a Family Finish option permitting family members to join the final 1,056 feet of the course when arranged at check in.
The race served as the USA Track & Field Utah Marathon Championship Race for 2026. It is a qualifying race for the 2027 Abbott World Marathon Majors Age Group World Championship and is the only U.S. Olympic Team Trials Marathon qualifier event in Utah for the 2028 trials. The Family Place is listed as the official charity partner; for every 5K registration $12.50 is donated and Cytiva contributes an additional $10 per 5K entry.
