Event overview
The Tomball ISD Superintendent's Fun Run takes place on February 28, 2026 at the Tomball Event Center, 20235 Cypress Rosehill Rd, Tomball, TX 77377. The event includes these distances:
- 5k (3.1 miles), a timed race
- 1-mile walk
- Sleep in Pass
The 5k and 1-mile have reduced registration prices listed for early registration and lower youth pricing for ages 0-18. Registration for the 5k and 1-mile closes on December 31, 2025 and reopens on January 1, 2026. Registration for the Sleep in Pass ends February 28, 2026. Awards will be given to the top three runners in each classification. The event is open to Tomball ISD students and staff and to the Tomball community. A 1-mile walking course is set up around the Tomball ISD Stadium.
Onsite activities and proceeds
A free festival inside Tomball ISD Stadium will include a Kidzone with inflatables, a bounce house, a toddler soft play area, a rock climbing wall, and face-painting. Tomball ISD student performances are scheduled throughout the event. A Health & Wellness Vendor Fair will feature local community partners. The 5k fun run will be broadcast live on the stadium video board for non-participants. Funds raised cover event costs; remaining funds support employee health and wellness incentives across the district and the Tomball Education Foundation.
