Tom Walker Half Marathon & 5k
The event is held in Gainesville on the paved Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail and starts from First Magnitude Brewing. It offers two race distances and is organized as a volunteer-led community event.

- Half Marathon: 13.1 miles
- 5K: 5 kilometers
The half marathon has a course time limit of 3.5 hours. Pacer groups are planned with target finish times and paces: 1:30 (6:52 pace), 1:40 (7:37 pace), 1:50 (8:24 pace), 2:00 (9:09 pace), 2:10 (9:55 pace), and 2:20 (10:40 pace). These pacers are designated for running only and are not walk/run pacers.
Registration opens 13 February 2026 and closes 28 July 2026. Registration fees in the source information are $50 for the half marathon and $25 for the 5K. The event is volunteer-led and volunteers are needed; volunteer coordination is managed through the event's Volunteer tab.
Membership information for the Florida Track Club is provided: individual yearly membership $40, family $65, student $25.
