Honoree Information
Tom Hensley was a dedicated community volunteer for over 60 years. He served as Commissioner of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency for 18 years. His conservation work was recognized with awards, including the Tennessee Wildlife Federation’s Conservation Achievement Award in 1992 and the Z. Carter Patten Award for lifetime achievement in 2015. He held leadership roles in various local organizations, including serving as President of the Woodlawn Shores Volunteer Fire Department.
