Event Overview
The TJ's Tiger Trot is a 5K running event held at Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Goddard, Kansas. The event is described as family-friendly and participants are encouraged to wear costumes. It takes place on an April evening.
Event Features
The event is chip-timed. The course inside the park is marked with arrows, signs, and volunteers. There is one water station along the course. Post-race activities include food, soft drinks, music, and animal meet-and-greets with park ambassadors. A photographer is stationed at the finish line. Restrooms are available inside the park and with portable units. Free on-site parking is provided.
Participant Information
Participants must wear their bib on the front of their outermost clothing for accurate timing. All paces are welcome, including walking. For safety and respect for the wildlife, bicycles, roller skates/blades, skateboards, animals (including dogs), and Segways are not permitted.
