Event Overview
The TJ’s Tiger Trot is a 5K running event held at Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Goddard, Kansas. The event takes place on a Saturday in mid-April. Costumes are encouraged for participants.
Race Details
The course is inside the wildlife park and will be clearly marked with arrows, signage, and volunteers. The event is chip-timed. A water station is provided along the course, and a photographer is stationed at the finish line. Restrooms are available inside the park and via portable units.
Post-Race and Amenities
After the run, there is a post-race gathering with music, food, soft drinks, and animal meet-and-greets with park ambassadors. Free on-site parking is available at Tanganyika.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race at a running shop in Wichita, or on race day at the wildlife park.
Prohibited Items
For safety and respect for the wildlife, bicycles, roller skates or blades, skateboards, animals (including dogs), and Segways are not permitted on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
