Race features, awards and policies
Packet pickup is available on race day before the start. Race entries for the 5k, 10k, and half marathon include a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. Timing for the 5k, 10k, and half marathon uses chip timing with live results; the 1 Mile, Kid's Dash, and Virtual events are untimed and do not qualify for age group awards. Awards for timed events include overall male and female, masters (40+), and top three male and female in standard age-group categories from 10 & Under through 80+.
The half marathon course is described as a double out-and-back. Course layouts are subject to change for permit or volunteer reasons. Virtual participants receive a digital bib, mailed packet with shirt and medal, and may upload times and photos beginning on the event day. The organizer has a no-refund policy; events proceed in most weather conditions and will be canceled only for venue requirements or hazardous ice, with transfers to virtual if cancellation occurs.
